Todays sermon is very very good. In my opinion.
Absorbed alot today..
but then i missed out one point. grrr.
ANYWAY.
During BS it was discussed :
If someone has turned from bad to good,
who do you praise?
That someone or God ?
Surely we praise God,
for He has changed that someone's life;
Or if someone has been consistently good,
Do we praise that someone or God ?
Then again, we praise God.
For He made that person like that.
God is great, isn't he ?
Everything, including you and me, are all part of his plan.
in Ephesians 1:3 "every spiritual blessing in Christ"
Ephesians 1:9 "which he purposed in Christ"
-God seeks his purpose/plan through Christ.
-w/o Christ in our hearts, we are empty.
so let us open our hearts and let God in, and do not shut him out.
Then, only will we be filled.
Let His love and graciousness overflow in our hearts, as He is generous and never holds back what he gives us.
Ephesians 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the hevenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Paul praised God.
Why ?
Because God blessed us, and has given us many spiritual blessings!
So many that they cannot be counted.
Let us appreciate what He has done for us.
He has done so much that mere words alone are not sufficient thanks.
Ephesians 1:4
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
" Chose us in him before the creation of the world"
- God had a plan long before he created the world.
Likewise, shouldn't we all plan before doing something?
And when we do something, bear in mind who or what we are doing it for : GOD.
"holy and blameless in his sight"
How great is our God!
How magnanimous is he.
despite all our sins, we are still blameless and holy in his sight. (:
Ephesians 1:5
He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will

-God wants us to have a place in his Kingdom.
it is part of his will, and he is more than happy;
for he takes pleasure in giving us that.
Ephesians 1:7-8
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace, that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

God's grace given to us did not come cheap.
It was given to us free, but it had cost him alot.
He died on the cross , shed his blood because of us sinners.
till on that cross, as Jesus died.
The wrath of God was satisfied.
He gives us never-ending wisdom and understanding;
He lets these overflow in our hearts.
Ephesians 1:10
To be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment-to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

God's plan is not only for us man; but for anything and everything he has created.
# His Purpose
1. God has revealed Himself to man.
2. Established the Church, for man to glorify him and to establish his kingdom on earth.
3. Christ is coming again to rule & establish his Kingdom on the Earth.
4. Final judgement: God will judge all man; to remove all sin, evil and unrighteousness.
5. Spiritual body : w/o a spiritual body, salvation is not complete. You will then not see the spiritual realm.
6. Replacing Heaven and the Earth: So that everything will be free from corruption & for those whom He has redeemed.

Ephesians 1:11
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will

-God wants us to be part of his plan! we should all rejoice :D
Ephesians 1:13-14
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory.

-We are God's possession!
He's the creator of all of us and he will never leave us.

Can you live a life without Christ?
I believe you can't.
Those who accept Christ & follow him faithfully moves in line with his purpose; You get eternal well-being.
His plan is for everyone, and we have a vital role! not just a small part of a big play.
We have the responsibility to share the gospel & make disciples from all nations.:. our response to this ..
We should be SINCERE.Do not give excuses, especially " no time ". Make time for God.
If everything else like sleeping is necessary, why isn't God necessary?Shouldn't He be even more important than our daily needs ?We don't need him everyday; but infact every second of our lives.
*This is the truth, not by chance or by luck.
Ultimately, his plan WILL work out (v 11:"everything in the conformity with the purpose of his will")
it is just the time it takes for each individual.
